①クッションが進化。
30mmクッションはフルマラソンでもしっかりと衝撃を吸収、それでいて反発力も得られる「ALTRA EGO™ MAX ミッドソール」を採用。ジョグペースで走る時は豊富なクッションのように感じられる。しかし絶妙にロッカー形状が効いているので、足捌きはとても良い。アウトソールは強度が増したので、スピードに乗ってレースペースで走っても、長時間走るペースでも安定感があります。
スタッフとしては、ジョグペースからマラソンペースまでシームレスに加速できるのがトーリンの良さ。
②アップデートポイント
・ヒールのフィット感が向上。
アルトラのシューズは基本的に踵にヒールカップは入っていません。踵の素材は柔らかく、靴紐で足を包み込むことで最高のフィット感を実現してくれます。中でもTORIN 7は独特のヒール形状。足首周りに面でフィットしてくれるので、長く走っていてもぴったりフィットします。（逆に足首周りが太めの方や、くるぶしの「外顆」が出っ張っている方は、お店でフィッティングしてアタリを見た方が良いと思います。）
マラソンでも、ウルトラでもとても人気。最高のフィット感のまま、正しい姿勢を保つために指は裸足のように自然と広がっていく構造は、長いレースでも快適に足元から支えてくれます。

Among the many models in the ALTRA lineup, this is the most popular model for full marathon runners and beginner runners alike.
1) Evolution of cushioning.
The 30mm cushion is adopted “ALTRA EGO™ MAX midsole” that absorbs shock firmly even in a full marathon, and yet also provides resilience. When running at a jog pace, it feels like an abundant cushion. However, because the rocker shape is exquisitely effective, foot handling is very good. The outsole has increased strength, so it feels stable even when running at a race pace at speed or at a long running pace.
For the staff, the Torin is great for seamlessly accelerating from jog pace to marathon pace.
(2) Update points
The fit of the heel has been improved.
Altra shoes basically do not have a heel cup in the heel. The heel material is soft and the laces wrap around the foot for the best fit. Among them, TORIN 7 has a unique heel shape. It fits snugly on the surface around the ankle, even during long runs. (On the other hand, if you have a thicker ankle circumference or the “outer condyle” of the ankle protrudes, it is better to have a fitting at a store to see the bite.)
